Episode 76 – Thanksgiving Songs, Bagpipes Driver and Ketchup Roulette

Elizabeth and Will talk to Dad about math, and when they all stopped liking it, pies, and gross things to put in your mouth.  Will asks why there aren’t as many Thanksgiving decorations and songs and there are Christmas decorations and songs, and Dad shares Bob’s Burger’s Thanksgiving songs and their covers by The National.  In the News, Dad shares a story about a many who was pulled over in New Zealand while playing the bagpipes.  Will shares a story about an Indian man who broke a world record by stuffing 459 drinking straws in his mouth at once.  Phoebe joins briefly to explain about the game “chubby bunny” and Will talks about “ketchup roulette.”  Elizabeth reads a story about the biggest toilet snake ever, a 20-foot python that was pulled out of a toilet in Thailand.  Will shares some excerpts from a book he got for his birthday, What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions, by Randall Munroe.  Maisy the Boston Terrier causes a disruption when she jumps onto her bed on top of her kennel.  Dad introduces a new segment called The Kids React and gives the kids an opportunity to reach to superhero TV shows from Dad’s childhood by showing clips from The Incredible Hulk and Wonder Woman televisions shows.  Finally, for Treat Yourself, the podcast samples a couple of flavors of Jolly Time popcorn, Belgian Waffle and Snickerdoodle.
