Episode 177 – Libby’s Pumpkin Pie Loyalty, Florida Dog’s Neighbor, and Twisted Hallmark Movies

Elizabeth talks to Dad about what it means to be “coming home,” the awkwardness of staying at other people’s houses, Elizabeth’s cat Sasha who thinks she’s smart (but is really dumb), Thanksgiving, Knives Out, Elizabeth’s last week of student teaching, the teaching certification exam, pies, and Dad’s quote in Bon Appetite magazine about the Libby’s pumpkin pie recipe.  In the news, there’s a story about a family in the United Arab Emirates who set a new world record for the largest handwritten bible, a couple of stories about dogs accidentally driving cars, and a city in Indonesia that is giving children fluffy chicks to children to keep them off their smartphones.  Allison (Mom) joins to host a round of Made-Up Movie Minute based on Hallmark holiday movies.  Finally, for Treat Yourself, the podcast tries some new flavors of Twix and KitKats.
