Elizabeth, Phoebe and Mom talk to Dad about Phoebe’s college visits, Maisy’s new trick, and the family vacation.  Dad talks about the retirement of his favorite drink, Coke Zero.  The podcast veers off into discussions of weird pronunciations of words and when they took Tae Kwon Do when the girls were young.  Dad shares his theory about why The Emoji Movie might be more popular, especially among young kids, if it’s truly terrible.  Elizabeth talks about watching a Maximum Ride movie on Netflix, and Dad and Mom talk about going to see Valerian.  The podcast discusses the edible cookie dough food trend.  In the News, there’s a story about cobras into the US in potato chip cans, a newspaper that issued corrections claiming that hot dogs aren’t sandwiches, a “hamburger straw” food trend in Japan, and a boy who fell and discovered a million-year-old fossil.  In Treat Yourself, the podcast samples some treats bought during their road trip: Sweet Fire Sriracha Cotton Candy and Dipping Dots gumballs.
